Taize Singing
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Barbara has led an international singing family spread all over the world to come together to sing regularly on Zoom. It is inspired by the daily Findhorn Taizé singing sessions that Barbara started more than 35 years ago and since then the tradition carries on in person in Findhorn and online via Zoom. At the moment the meetings are sporadic since Barbara is on the road more often; if you would like to be informed of upcoming dates, please join our mailing list.
If you would like to sing online more regularly, you can also join the online Findhorn Taize community which meets Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings every week. If you would like to be added to their mailing list, please contact Annelise.
Music Train
The MusicTrain method can teach the basics of music and music notation quickly, effortlessly and simply. It is easy to understand and so much fun that learning is easy and there is no stress. It is a holistic method that works with image analogies and stories. It activates and links parts of the brain through creative play with game boards and tokens as well as with voice, movement and instruments. This is an excellent basis for increasing brain performance and enhancing cognitive abilities in young and old. The MusicTrain works in schools, families, music schools and therapy sessions and works for groups, individual lessons and self-study.

During the pandemic, I developed an online version of the MusicTrain that can be accessed here. For the physical version of the game, please visit our Projects page. Training is also available for MusicTrain teachers; details can be found under Courses and Retreats.
